“The epidemic recurs but fitness never stops." On May 11, the registration channel for the Sports for All Online Games & The 2022 Global Taijiquan Virtual Competition officially opened. This competition is hosted by the Sport for All Department of the All-China Sports Federation, Wushu Administration Center of the General Administration of Sport of China, China Wushu Research Institute, and Chinese Wushu Association, and organized by China Interactive Sports Technology Invention Co., Ltd. Global Taijiquan enthusiasts can register for this competition via the official website, mobile site, official WeChat account, and Sina Weibo (sub-division) of Chinese Wushu Association.

This year's competition aims to meet the demand of global Taijiquan enthusiasts in the face of regular epidemic prevention and control, to create an online platform for global Taijiquan enthusiasts to compete, display, communicate, and interact, to advocate scientific fitness at home through Taijiquan, to promote the popularization and promotion of Taijiquan, and to contribute to the improvement of people's health.

This year's competition also includes the “Taijiquan Exercises MOOC” section, in which world champions and well-known university professors of Taijiquan were invited to provide wonderful technical demonstrations and guidance to global Wushu enthusiasts in the cloud. This aims to better tell the story of Wushu, reflect the spirit of Wushu, and present the image of Wushu to the world.
