Since the Online Sport for All Games and Second Global Online Taijiquan Competition was launched on May 11 2022, it has attracted Taijiquan fans across the world to actively signed up. A total of 21,083 persons at home and abroad have signed up for the competition (10,688 individual competitors and 10,395 family competitors). 23,619 performance videos have been uploaded and 18,125 of them passed the initial review by the Organizing Committee. Viewers will be able to vote and like them online and they will be judged by the jury in person as well.
In the meantime, the Organizing Committee also received many videos of good wishes from top athletes and coaches of Kazakhstan, Republic of Korea, Malaysia, Japan, Iran, Indonesia, Australia, Belgium, Venezuela, Malta and Hong Kong SAR. They hope the Taijiquan competitors can make friends in the competiton and give their best performance to prove that Taijiquan is a good means to stay healthy and the practitioners can embrace a brighter future together.
